Footwork on two reds into single leg, long box pulling straps, short spine to close. Group was strong on the straps and tired by short spine, which is the opposite of last week.

Regressions

Leah on one red for footwork, no plank series, wrist is still sore. Sofia side lying for the whole abdominal block, she is at 22 weeks and did not want supine at all.

Next time

Move short spine earlier while they still have the hip flexors for it. Bring back the standing lunge series, they have not seen it in a month.

Slow foundations day. Three people were new within the last month so I stayed on the fundamentals block far longer than planned and cut the jump board entirely.

Split the room. The four regulars are bored and the four new ones are not ready. Ask Maria whether Friday 6:00 could become a foundations slot, it is the emptiest class I teach.

A full room of 12 pays you $60 and an empty-ish room of 8 pays $48. Across a normal period that spread is worth about $180, which is why the attendance screen matters more to you than it looks.

Where your rate comes from

Rates are set per instructor by the studio owner and recorded on your instructor agreement, which is in your documents. Changes take effect at the start of a period, never mid period, and you get a notification the day they are entered.
