Today
Thursday, August 6. What you have booked, what comes off your card next, and the note Dana keeps about your wrist.
Eleven of twelve reformers taken, and one of them is yours. Reformer 7 is back on the floor tomorrow morning, so this class reads against 12 again. Today's reformer classes are still 11.
Unlimited does not mean unlimited at once. Core & Flow lets you hold five bookings at a time, which is what stops four people sitting on every 6:00 AM for a month. Cancel one and a fourth opens up.
“Wrist strain. Lighter springs on footwork, and no plank series until she says otherwise.”
This is the same note that comes up on Dana's roster before class, not a copy of it. You can change it yourself, and Dana is told when you do.
If a spot opens you get a text and have 15 minutes to claim it before it passes to the third person. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged until you say yes.
Book a class
Thursday, August 6 at Core & Flow Austin. Every count below is real spots on real apparatus, so a machine out of service takes a spot off the class rather than quietly overbooking it.
| Time | Class | Teacher | Apparatus | Spots | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6:00 AM | Reformer Flow |

Reformer | You are 2nd in line |
The number on every row is spots against apparatus, not a headcount against a guess. 9 of 11 on the noon reformer means two machines are free, and if Reformer 7 were back it would read 9 of 12.
Cancel before 6:00 PM the night before a 6:00 AM class and the spot opens back up. No charge, and no session spent.
Inside that window your membership is charged $15. On a class pack the session is spent either way and there is no refund, which is the rule people are most often surprised by.
Not turning up without cancelling is $25, taken from the card on file, whether or not the class was full.
Offered a spot from a waitlist, you have 15 minutes to claim it before it goes to the next person in line. You are told your position the whole time, not just when you reach the front.
Membership
Your plan, what comes off your card and when, and everything Core & Flow Austin holds about you. Nothing on this page needs a phone call to the front desk.
A pause costs $15 a month for up to 60 days and it holds your $189 rate. Cancelling and rejoining in the autumn would put you on whatever the price is then, which is the whole reason a pause exists.
Cancelling a membership never touches a certificate or an hour log. Those belong to you and they travel with you to any EYT studio.
| Date | What | Amount | Status | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jul 14 | Unlimited Monthly | $189.00 | Paid | |
| Jul 2 | Grip socks, bought at the front desk | $18.00 | Paid | |
| Jun 14 | Unlimited Monthly | $189.00 | Paid |
Your money goes straight to Core & Flow Austin's own account. The network never sits in the middle of what you pay your studio, which is why a refund is the studio's to give and not a support ticket somewhere else.
“Wrist strain. Lighter springs on footwork, and no plank series until she says otherwise.”
Four people at one studio, and nobody at the network. If you move to another EYT studio this note does not travel unless you send it, because an injury you have recovered from should not follow you around forever.
These are records of things that happened, so nobody edits them, including the studio. Your note is the one field on this screen that is an opinion rather than a fact, which is exactly why it is yours to correct.
My training
Spring 200hr Comprehensive at Core & Flow Austin, led by Dana Michaels. Hours, modules, and exactly what still stands between you and a certificate.
Hours are a percentage of a total, so they are drawn as a bar. Modules are nine named things you can count, so they are drawn as nine marks. The amber one is module 6, quiz passed and practical outstanding.
It unlocks when hours, assessments and the practical are all genuinely complete. Nothing is issued early, not by Dana and not by the studio, because a certificate that can be granted as a favour is worth nothing to the person holding it.
Worth 12 teaching hours, which takes you to 140 of 200 in one weekend. It is the single biggest jump left in the programme.
Coursework
Module 6, Sequencing and cueing. What you owe, what has been marked, and what Dana said about the last one.
| Piece | Module | Marked by | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Practical, teach a 20 minute flow | 6 | Not handed in | Due Aug 22 |
| Anatomy short answers | 6 |

Being marked |
| Module 6 quiz | 6 | Marked on submission | 18 of 20 |
| Module 5 practical | 5 |
DMDana Michaels

Passed |
Multiple choice and short answers are marked the second you submit them, so three of the four rows above needed nobody's time. Only a video practical waits on a human, and that is the one that should.
“Lovely pacing on the footwork. Slow the transition into the short spine, and give one cue, not three.”
Feedback sits against the piece it is about, so when you film module 6 you are reading it rather than trying to remember it.

Worth the 38 minutes given what is on your own note. Dana recorded it after the module 5 group kept asking the same question.
Bought once and kept, whatever happens to your membership later. It does not expire and it is not a second subscription.
Ask EYT
Trained on EYT's own curriculum and wired into your training record. It answers from the manual you are being taught from, and it says where every answer came from.
A cited answer is the whole point. A student who is told “Module 6” can go and read Module 6, and an assistant that cannot name its source is a confident guess wearing a uniform.
Settings
Your sign in, your reminders and who can see you. Your plan, your payments and everything the studio holds about you live on Membership, on one screen, and they are not repeated here.
Who you are at Core & Flow Austin, and what a teacher sees when your name comes up on a roster.
Only the teacher running your class and the front desk can see this, and only on the day you are booked in. It is not on your roster line and it is never exported.
Your $189 Unlimited Monthly, your card, every charge, your teacher's note about your wrist and your 128 logged hours are all on one screen, so there is one place to look and one place to correct them.
Display and accessibilityRarely changed
How you get in, and how you get back in when you cannot.
Turning the code off does not make you less safe on its own. What makes an account safe here is that nobody at the studio can read your password, so a front desk shift cannot be talked into handing it over.
Where you are signed inRarely changed
| Device | Where | Last used | |
|---|---|---|---|
| iPhone, Safari | Austin, TX | This morning, 8:12 AM | This device |
| MacBook Air, Chrome | Austin, TX | Aug 2 | |
| Studio iPad at the desk | Core & Flow Austin | Jul 12 |
The desk iPad is the one to watch. You signed in on it once to check a booking and it stayed signed in, which is why it is listed here rather than hidden in an audit log.
Four of these save you money or a wasted trip. The rest are optional and off.
The waitlist text is the one that matters. The spot passes to the next person after 15 minutes whether you have read it or not, and at 6:00 AM that is the difference between a class and no class.
Quiet hours and how they arriveRarely changed
A waitlist text ignores quiet hours, on purpose, because a spot that opens at 5:40 AM for a 6:00 AM class is worth being woken for. Nothing else does.
This screen is about other members. What the studio itself holds about you, including your teacher's note, is on Membership under What the studio sees.
Nothing here is visible outside Core & Flow Austin. A member at another EYT studio cannot see your name, your photo or that you train here at all.
Take your record with youRarely changed
Your certificate, your logged hours and your attendance belong to you and travel to any EYT studio. Your teacher's note does not travel unless you send it, because an injury you have recovered from should not follow you around forever.
Two things most members never open, and one they open once.
Read only is the whole point. A booking cancelled from a calendar app would skip the 12 hour rule and the fee, and neither the studio nor you would know which one was true.
Leaving Core & Flow AustinRarely changed
Cancelling your membership and closing your account are two different things and most people only want the first. Cancelling gives 30 days notice and ends at the end of the month you have already paid for. Closing your account removes your sign in and keeps your attendance, payments and training hours, because those are records of things that happened.
Your 128 logged hours and your 200hr certificate survive both. They belong to you and no studio can take them back.
